Online Printing Company Converts Sales
The Challenge
This online provider of customizable printing products website received plenty of web traffic but the bulk of their visitors weren’t staying long enough to complete their purchases. Their customization offerings were so flexible that completing an order was confusing, so instead of completing an order, customers were dropping off in the middle of an order.
The Solution
Silicon Space assisted by redesigning the portion of their site that took users through various ordering options, the area where most visitors were dropping off, in an effort to raise their conversion rate. Not only did Silicon Space utilize a mixed team from California and Mexico, but they also worked closely with key members of the clients team who were located in Kansas. The California-based team consisted of a Project Manager, Technical Architect and Creative Director and was supplemented by a Senior Application Developer and a QA Tester located in Mexico. Initially, Silicon Space worked closely with client to design a prototype for the portion of the site that was losing the most customers, and then the Technical Architect guided the resources in Mexico to integrate and test the new design into the site and then assist the clients developers in deploying the final code.
The Result
After eight weeks the new site was live. And after a few months, the clientwas happy to realize an increased conversion rate.
